Strangely enough, she also talked about a lot of snake stories, like the eight-foot python that got lost in an old apartment building’s walls and the hundreds of garter snakes that took over a family’s house. She became known as “the snake reporter” after fainting during one of these snake stories. Memphis, Tennessee, was her next destination in TV news. This resulted in more frequent severe weather but warmer winters. Even at night, Jill would stay up for hours watching thunderstorms and tornadoes.
