Gross started out as a team leader at Don’s Cash Wash in Monroe, Michigan, the United States. Then, he became a summer lot driver for enterprise holdings in Romulus, Michigan. Afterward, he went to Fox TV in Southfield, Michigan, and served as a weather intern for about 4 months. Next, he was a team leader for Starbucks in Mount Pleasant, Michigan. Then, he interned at WLNS-TV in Lansing, Michigan under weather reports and updates.
Later, John upgraded to the weather forecaster position at News Central 34 in Mount Pleasant, Michigan. Onwards he got a resident producer job at Primerica for almost a year now. Currently, he is at WNEM TV5-MY5 Meredith Corp in Saginaw, Michigan working as a weekday meteorologist after being a trainee meteorologist.
Gross has always been interested in observing weather conditions from a young age. He also became a meteorologist as it was something fascinating to him and wanted to learn more. Plus, he occasionally loves outdoor activities, listening to new songs, and being with his family.
