Nakrin’s anchoring for ESPN Asia was broadcast live to more than 24 countries from the network’s headquarters in Singapore.

Joy proudly volunteers in the local community, serving as a committee member for the Boston Chinatown Neighborhood Center and supporting the local MSPCA.

She is also a proud rescue dog mom to rottweiler Mortimer, pit bull Gertrude and dachshund Oliver. Having grown up on a horse farm in rural North Carolina, she loves animals and the outdoors. But since her family settled in Boston in 1998, Boston has been and is home.
