Malzhan first started off his career doing ESPN3 work for the UW-Green Bay Athletic department. From there, Malzhan interned with the Fond du Lac Dock Spiders in 2018 during their first-ever championship season. In 2019, he interned for the Northwoods League Studio as an on-air host to the league’s pregame show in Rochester, Minnesota where he also got to host his own show on Fox Sports North.
Malzhan also won a Wisconsin Broadcasters Association Award for best student television sports story in 2019 and has covered the College World Series, NBA Finals, MLB Playoffs, The Green Bay Packers, NASCAR, PGA, and much more.
