During her college years, she got her initial job in Jefferson City, Missouri. Additionally, she served KRCG on weekends during her senior years. Later, she attained her full-time broadcasting job when she served in Jackson, Tennessee at WBBJ.
From there, she went on to serve on weather teams in Wichita, Dallas, and Nashville. During her stint at the stations, she encountered a variety of drastic weather markets nationwide. Moreover, she has provided coverage for numerous drastic weather outbreaks. However, her most unforgettable weather event is the 2020 Nashville tornado.
Additionally, she was on duty when an EF-3 tornado ripped through downtown Nashville thus claiming the lives of 24 people. Furthermore, she and her team got nominated for a 2020 Emmy in the Breaking News category for their extensive broadcasts. Aside from the weather, she has a passion is assisting people with disabilities. In each of her residencies, she has served as a volunteer at therapeutic horseback riding centers.
Moreover, she helps children with physical, emotional, and behavioral disabilities learn how to ride horses. When she is not working, she loves working out, going to the gym daily, and training for Cross Fit events. Also, she enjoys taking long walks outside.
