Born and raised in Palmyra, Mac graduated from Slippery Rock University in 2022. While attending Slippery Rock, he was a member of WSRU-TV, a television news organization, and the assistant news editor of The Rocket, an independent student-run newspaper. In the summer of 2022, Mac would finish his internship with WGAL News 8, and in October of the same year, he began working as a digital business reporter for ABC27 News.
