Mike Nicco is an American meteorologist who is working for KGO-TV as a weekday midday meteorologist at 11 a.m. and on ABC7 News at 4 p.m. since January 2022. He joined the station in January 2007. Upon joining the station in 2007, he served the station as a morning and midday meteorologist for 15 years.

Additionally, he got an interest in meteorology after a then-rated F4 tornado (207-260 mph winds) tore a trail through his hometown. After witnessing the howling wind whip through trees, its sound, and the impact it had at the age of 6 his curiosities were aroused.
He wanted to understand how a tornado could damage a house to its foundation when it’s not even having any contact with another house just a few feet away. Hence, his inner scientist was conceived.
Prior to serving KGO, he worked
Last but not least, he served KARK 4 as a morning meteorologist for over 4 years since May 1997. In his free time, he enjoys exploring various open spaces and trails, relaxing at the pool, and enjoying the beauty of the coast. Also, Nicco and his wife love volunteering and giving back to the community.
