Mo Carter is an American award-winning sports journalist currently working at WZDX FOX54 News as a sports director. Previously, he worked at KALB in Alexandria, Louisiana as a sports anchor and was later promoted to the rank of sports director. He is a graduate of Southern University where he attained a degree in Mass Communications in 2009. Carter is a native of the bayous of Napoleonville, Louisiana.

Carter worked as an on-air personality at Cumulus Media from September 2006-September 2008 in Baton Rouge. Here, he hosted a weekend show on WXOK-AM and KQXL-FM, was the voice of the community calendar as well as Voiced and edited commercials. He later joined the WAFB TV team from June 2009 to August 2010 as a sports reporter, photographer as well as producer.
