Rex later served at the Baltimore Ravens in 1999 but in 2005, he became the defensive coordinator before being given the team’s assistant head coach position in 2008. Luckily in the 2009 season, Ryan became head coach with the Jets. However, Rex was fired and hence joined the Bills as their head coach. He worked there till 2016 when he later was hired by ESPN where he serves as an analyst, including on Sunday NFL Countdown.
