Previously, Zuri worked as a weekday Morning anchor at our sister Hearst Television station, WTPZ, based out of South Burlington, Vermont. Before that, she worked as an anchor, reporter, and Assistant Producer for Temple Update, a weekly, live, half-hour news program produced, directed, and anchored by Temple University students.

During her tenure in Vermont and Northern New York, Zuri has reported on significant regional affairs such as the catastrophic July flood of 2023, snowfalls, the COVID-19 pandemic, and even national headlines like U.S. Senator Patrick Leahy’s retirement and former New York Governor Andrew Cuomo’s resignation. Originally from Philadelphia, Zuri is a huge Philly sports fan.
While living in New England, she developed a love for the great outdoors, hiking, and skiing with her fiancé and her Labrador Retriever. She is excited to explore Southwest Florida’s outdoors without her parka. On her days off, you can find her by the pool or beach or trying out a new seafood restaurant!
