He began his career as a reporter and news director for Northwestern University’s student TV station. His reporting, editing, writing, filming, and video-logging abilities were guided by his coverage of Big Ten teams for the radio station WNUR and the club. As a broadcaster, he attended games, spoke with players, and wrote recaps. For their weekly college sports show, he was also an executive producer, anchoring, writing scripts, producing, directing, and creating news packages featuring on-camera interviews.
