Pepper is Senior Vice President of Talent Strategy at CBS News and Network Streaming, where she oversees talent recruitment and development across all platforms. In this role, Pepper is committed to providing CBS with the best journalists in front of and behind the camera. She was nominated for the new position in October 2021. Prior to his new position, Pepper was a talent agent at Creative Artists Agency. She joined CAA in February 2020 in the TV department.

Before joining CAA, Pepper spent nearly two decades at CBS News, becoming the senior producer of 60 Minutes in 2017. In this role, he helped manage the show and worked to hire the next generation of reporters both on and off the airwaves. In addition to these duties, Pepper oversaw the development of documentaries from the 60 Minutes and CBS News archives, including the acclaimed documentary Mike Wallace is Here, a co-production with Delirio Films. Pepper was Senior Producer for 60 Minutes Productions from January 2015 to February 2017. In this role, she was responsible for identifying distribution and filming opportunities for 60 Minutes and 60 Minutes Sports, as well as growing the International 60 Minutes brand.

Pepper joined 60 Minutes in 2004 as unit manager and held several key positions on the show over the next decade, including coordinator, senior broadcast manager, and senior producer. Pepper was Executive Director of Recruiting and Development at CBS News for four years (2011-2015), hiring and promoting many aspiring reporters. He also created the CBS News Affiliate Program, an entry-level competitive program designed to identify talented and aspiring reporters that brought more than 150 new reporters to CBS News. Pepper’s career at CBS News began in May 2000 as an evening news site at Dan Attraction. The following year she joined ’60 Minutes II’ as a contributor.
