Formerly, Agus was the director of the Louis Warschaw Prostate Cancer Center and an attending physician at the School of Medicine, Department of Medical Oncology, Cedars-Sinai Medical Center. He also proudly served as an associate professor of medicine at the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA).
He is currently a Professor of Medicine and Engineering at USC Keck School of Medicine and USC Viterbi School of Engineering, and Executive Director and Founder of the Lawrence J. Ellison Institute for Transformative Medicine. Agus chairs the Global Agenda Council (GAC) on Genetics at the World Economic Forum and is a regular speaker at TEDMED, the Aspen Ideas Festival, and the World Economic Forum. David’s research focused on the use of cancer modeling technology and new cancer treatments. He has published numerous scientific articles. Dr. David joined CBS News and became a contributor in 2013 and appears regularly on CBS This Morning and other CBS News platforms.
