He did his internship at Crew West Inc. in the Phoenix, Arizona area as a Video Producer where he assisted with video and audio needs during shoots. Prior to joining ASU, David was a student at Scottdale Community College from 2011 to 2013.
David Caltabiano Career
Caltabiano began his journalism career as a News Reporter at The State Press (ASU Student Media) while still at ASU. He was tasked with the responsibility of reporting and editing digital news pieces for The State Press website. David later joined Cronkite News in August 2016 as a Multimedia Journalist and served the station for five months. He shot, edited, and reported on daily news as well as developed enterprise stories.
At the beginning of 2017, Caltabiano joined the Sinclair Broadcast Group as a reporter in San Antonio, Texas. He reported on a wide variety of issues but notably covered drug and human trafficking in South Texas for nearly three years. Currently, David has been working with Meridith Corporation, AZ Family 3TV & CBS 5 in Phoenix, Arizona as a reporter since October 2019.
In addition to his journalism career, Caltabiano has also worked as a part-time server at Postino Winebar in Scottsdale, which enabled him to gain capital while still focusing on his studies at Arizona State University. He has also worked as a Teller/Personal Banker at Wells Fargo in Scottsdale, Arizona.
