Jon Small is an American journalist currently working at WABI TV5 in Bangor, ME as a news director and anchor. He joined WABI TV5 as co-anchor of the TV5 Morning News in 1997. Later, he became assistant news director in 2004 and news director in 2020. He also co-anchors TV5 News at Six. Small is a great fan of the Miami Dolphins and a card-carrying member of Red Sox Nation. He is a Boston University graduate.

Small started his broadcasting career in radio at the age of 16 at WRKD in Rockland. He joined Boston University and graduated summa cum laude. Therefore, he moved to Maine and worked at radio stations in Rockland, Gardiner, Waterville, and Augusta. However, he moved to Bangor to join WABI radio in 1993.
