Before moving to Florida, Ian resided in Nashville, where he oversaw WSMV’s morning newscast. He traveled with the newscast and covered President Obama’s visit, CMA Fest, and the terrible tornadoes in Lincoln County. He was also awarded to get the Tennessee Associated Press Broadcasters’ “Best TV Anchor” award. Ian developed a love for country music while living in Music City.
