Upon joining the station in 2001, she served as the weekday anchor of the station’s morning 4:30-7 a.m. piece of news programming. To boot, she aided in piloting the morning show for 15 years prior to being upgraded to the afternoon and early evening anchor.
In her quarter century with ABC 7 Chicago, she broadcasted crucial news stories in Chicago both on the desk and in the field. Prior to WLS, she served in San Diego at KFMB-TV as an anchor. Upon joining, she served the station as a weekend anchor and general assignment reporter. Moreover, she has
worked with numerous charities all around the region spotlighting matters important to local families.
Further, she serves as the chairperson on the Advisory Board for Chicago’s Chinese American Service League. To boot, she acted as a leading voice in the American Cancer Society’s annual Making Strides Against Breast Cancer Walk and the American Heart Association’s Go Red for Women movement.
Furthermore, she joined the Community Memorial Foundation’s Regional Health and Human Services Advisory Council in the western suburbs. Also, she was dubbed a Woman of Distinction in 2017. Additionally, she is fluent in Mandarin.
