Before serving WGN, she served WJBK-TV, the Fox affiliate in Detroit, Michigan as a reporter and a substitute anchor for three years. Also, she served WXIN-TV in Indianapolis as a reporter for two years. While there, she debuted and hosted the station’s public affairs show, “Hoy en Dia.” Else, she served as an anchor on daily news cut-ins in Spanish for the radio station, WEDJ-FM.

Moreover, she served in Peoria at WHOI-TV as a reporter. Additionally, she served at Metro Networks in Miami, Florida for radio stations WLRN-FM and WTMI-FM as a reporter. Nonetheless, she debuted her career in Chicago where she served as a freelance reporter for Telemundo. On top of this, she is a four-time Emmy-awarded journalist.
