Scott began his broadcasting career working as a Traffic Reporter at Total Traffic & Weather Network in Southfield, MI. After that, he was hired as a multimedia journalist at WILX-TV in Lansing, MI. He spent 10 months there, before relocating to Bay City’s WNEM TV5.
Scott comes to FOX 2 from Birmingham, where he worked as the Media Relations Specialist at Identity Public Relations. A few of Scott’s favorite stories include a woman who needed assistance to remove a dilapidated garage before it collapsed into her house, an electric guitar-loving WWII veteran, and a carnival that was filled with corn dog sticks and prizes during the pandemic. He enjoys writing, reading, exploring, playing the piano, and video editing during his free time. A Clockwork Orange, Remains of the Day, and The Sound and the Fury are a few of his favorite books. Scott frequently gives advice and motivation to aspiring journalists and public relations specialists at Oakland University.
