Even the daily earthquakes she and her family faced did not inspire her to pursue a career in weather. It was only that she loved to fly. Stephanie decided to learn as much as possible about the topic after seeing the need for precise forecasts while studying for her private pilot’s certificate.

The Pennsylvania State University awarded Stephanie a Bachelor of Science degree, and she also possesses the American Meteorological Society Television Seal of Approval. Stephanie enjoys visiting local companies, organizations, and schools to honor commitment and hard work by highlighting them in her Weather Welcome. The stunning beaches in the Florida panhandle are Stephanie’s go-to getaway location.
