Chuck grew up in Marquette Heights and he enjoyed watching the weather. That was when his dream of being on Peoria radio and TV began. Collins is an Illinois News Broadcaster’s Association member and the Screen Actors Guild, & the American Federation of Television and Radio Artists (SAG-AFTRA). He has been fortunate enough to be a multiple winners of the Illinois Broadcaster’s Association “Silver Dome” award for best downstate television weather.
