Because Jarvis interned there, his employment at WVTM represents a full-circle experience. He kicked off his career in Albany, Georgia, then made a stop in Savannah after gaining experience in a newsroom. He lived in Greenville, South Carolina, for over four years before going back home.
This Birmingham native earned a diploma from Wenonah High School in 2006 and, in December 2013, from the University of Alabama in Birmingham. It’s my home, therefore I’m looking forward to getting to know this community,” he said. “Coming back to Birmingham to share the stories of the people here is a dream come true; I have always loved Birmingham.”
