Jonathan has been in the weather business for almost 3 decades now and has worked as a Meteorologist at KAAL in Austin/Rochester. Additionally, he also worked in KEYC in Mankato, KCRA in Sacramento, and KARE in the Twin Cities.
Jonathan started being fascinated with the weather started at age 7. While in Omaha visiting cousins, a tornado passed near their neighborhood and hence started learning everything he could about tornadoes and Minnesota weather. Therefore, he has been able to chase tornadoes from Minnesota to Texas throughout his career. Yuhas has run 25 marathons and has his pilot’s license. Further, he was an Edina Police Reserve Officer for 5 years and has trained numerous police and fire departments on how to respond to severe weather situations.
