Asia is no stranger to the world of sports, Growing up, she was a sideline and competitive cheerleader for 12 years, winning the World Cheerleading Championship with the California All-Stars Lady Bullets. After that, she put on some track shoes and started a nine-year career in track and field. In addition, she competed in the Aztecs Track and Field as an All-American heptathlete, winning the 2020 Mountain West Indoor Pentathlon Championship and the Mountain West Team Championship twice.

Additionally, Asia was named SDSU’s Female Student-Athlete of the Year in 2021 and held the position of President of the Student-Athlete Advisory Committee. After graduating from SDSU, Asia relocated to the University of Florida for a month to complete her academic and athletic endeavors. Asia participated in the historic Gators women’s track and field squad that took home the NCAA Indoor and Outdoor Championships in 2022.

Asia made her television news debut as an intern at Fox 5 San Diego. There she served as the morning news producer. Since then, she has worked with Gators Athletics and ESPN Gainesville. Reporting on trending sports news on the radio and writing articles about collegiate and professional sports in North Florida. Additionally, Asia was the anchor of the Gators Lacrosse Halftime Show and has written numerous articles about various sports-related subjects.

Asia has won numerous pageant titles, most notably Miss Black Global 2021.
