He covers breaking news, human interest, and crime, to enterprise stories and all other sorts of stories. Prior to joining the KDKA team, Bryant worked as a Multimedia Journalist shooting, writing, and editing his stories at the beach with WECT. At WECT which is an NBC/Fox affiliate in Wilmington, North Carolina, he also filled in to anchor a variety of shows.

Bryant was very familiar with covering severe weather, like Hurricanes Dorian and Isaias in back-to-back years while in Southeast North Carolina. Bryant was regionally recognized by the RTDNAC in the past due to his excellency in a Special Report based on Black Lives Matter protests.
Bryant’s foundation is strong for having family in the news and sports business across the country. He successfully interned with NBC in Brazil for the 2016 Summer Olympics in Rio de Janeiro while still a student at the University of North Carolina at Pembroke.
He is originality can be traced to Charlotte, North Carolina, although he is no stranger to the Pittsburgh area. He is lucky to have a big number of his family here. Reed also spent summers and winters in the area and even participated in Pitt basketball camps with Jamie Dixon as the coach.
