You can watch her provide line newscasts on weekdays at 12 pm and 5 pm and on weekends at 5 pm, 6 pm, and 10 pm. Denisse is happy to be here, telling stories of different individuals that make up the Wichita community.
While attending Monmouth University, Denisse hosted the award-winning Spanish-language radio program “Nuestros Sonidos Latinos”. Denisse worked as the managing editor and features editor for the school newspaper, “The Outlook.” She worked for the university newscast as an anchor and reporter as well. Additionally, she worked as an intern at CNBC En Español and Telemundo 62 in Philadelphia throughout her tenure at Monmouth University.
Denisse traveled to Puerto Rico in July 2022, to receive the Mario Vargas Llosa Award from the National Collegiate Hispanic Honor Society and the American Association of Teachers of Spanish and Portuguese. This award is given to a single student who does very well in her undergraduate Spanish classes and Spanish-related extracurricular activities.
