Guidotti is originally from Pittsburgh and graduated from Point Park. He later joined the KDKA team in 2001 as a general assignment reporter. Ross has covered different stories including forest fires, and hurricanes, as well as covered efforts to impeach former President Bill Clinton and the Sago mine disaster.
Guidotti reported for WHSV-TV in 1995 in Harrisonburg, Virginia. However, in 1996 he joined the WJAC-TV team in Johnstown, Pennsylvania. In 1998 he worked In Johnstown, where he wrote, produced, and hosted the Emmy-nominated special “Who Will Protect the Children?” Thereafter, he served at WTVR-TV in Richmond, Virginia. Ross has been lucky to receive nominations for three Emmys and was awarded one in 2003. Additionally, Guidotti was also awarded A Golden Quill and an Associated Press Award in 2003.
Ross served in The United States Marine Corps is among major places Ross has served and he is also a Desert Storm veteran. He loves mechanical duties, weight-training, playing and coaching ice hockey, skiing and golf whenever off duty.
